In 2010, Ms. Stinnette earned her Juris Doctor degree, Summa
Cum Laude, from Stetson University College of Law and was named co-valedictorian of her graduating
class. While at Stetson, Pam was a member of the Stetson Law Review and
associate editor of the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy . She
also received the Stanley Milledge Award for Excellence. She was admitted
to the Florida Bar in 2011.
A native of Tampa, Florida, Ms. Stinnette has previously
served as Managing Engineer for Jim Stidham & Associates, Director of Environmental
External Affairs, for the Florida House of Representatives and was a tenured
Professor at Hillsborough Community College.
Her professional activities include chair of the American Society of Testing Materials
Subcommittee and chair of the 44th
National Highway Geology Symposium. She was also involved in conducting
research sponsored by organizations such as the National Science Foundation, the Florida Department of
Transportation, Hillsborough County and the private sector.
A committed civic advocate, she has served as a member
of the Commission for Independent Education, Commissioner
of Education's Task Force on Workforce Development, the Florida
Aquarium Operations Committee, board member of the Byrd
Alzheimer’s Research Institute and member of the Century
Commission for a Sustainable Florida. In addition, she has served as
governing board member for the Southwest Florida Water Management
District, member of the Pasco-Hernando Community College Board of
Trustees, member of the Tampa-Hillsborough County Sustainable
Communities Task Force, alternate member of the Hernando County
Planning and Zoning Commission and elected to the board of supervisors
for the Hillsborough County Soil and Water Conservation District.
She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Hernando County
Bar Association
